Srinagar, Apr 27 (KNO): Stating that the Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) and its teams have admitted their defeat by seeking the deferment of elections for Anantnag-Rajouri Lok Sabha seat, Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Vikar Rasool Wani on Saturday said that the INDI Alliance will emerge victorious from all the six seats of J&K and Ladakh Union Territories. Addressing a news conference, Wani as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that he is confident that the candidates of INDI Alliance will win all the six seats of J&K and Ladakh. “Some parties, who are A B C and D teams of BJP have written to the Elections Commission of India (ECI) and sought deferment of polls for Anantnag-Rajouri seat. They have already admitted their defeat from the constituency and thus are trying to ensure the deferment of the polls,” he said. Wani further stated that the people of Kashmir will show their anger against these parties in the elections, adding that the defeat of BJP and its allies is certain. About the issue of INDI Alliance’s candidate for Srinagar Parliamentary Constituency, Aga Ruhulla, it is just a rumour; he has been with him in the house and is a three-time MLA. “He is contesting the polls and will win as well,” he said. Wani also demanded rehabilitation of the victim families, whose house got damaged in a road sinking incident at Pernote area in Ramban, saying that 30 houses have got completely damaged while the administration has shifted the families to local panchayat Ghar. “How can these families live in the local Panchayat ghar? We request the administration to utilize the funds under disaster management and also the district administration should shift the families to other places,” he said. “The state land already taken over from the people recently should be identified as provided to these families so that they can start a fresh immediately and also restore the essential services,” he added—(KNO)
